The trophy of the ODI World Cup to be held in India in October-November was taken to the Mawa Point of the Padma Bridge near Pillar No. 1 after reaching Dhaka today at around 4:30 PM. After the ICC’s official photo session there, the media was given an opportunity to take pictures.

BCCI and ICC took a long time to announce the World Cup schedule.

The schedule was finally announced in late June, but the nine-match schedule was changed less than two months before the start of the tournament. Bangladesh has three matches in it. ICC has announced the change of the World Cup schedule today. Cricket’s governing body has not given any official reason for the schedule change. However, these schedules have changed mainly around two religious festivals in India.
ICC has changed the schedule of Bangladesh’s three matches against England, New Zealand, and Australia. In the earlier announced schedule, Bangladesh’s match against England was scheduled to be held in Dharamshala on October 10. Although the date has not changed, the start time of this match has changed. Earlier it was a day-night match, which was scheduled to start at 2:30 PM BST. But now it has become a match of the day, which will start at 11 am Bangladesh time (10:30 am local time).
Both the date and start time of the match against New Zealand have changed. The Chennai match has been brought forward from October 14 (Saturday) to October 13 (Friday). While it was earlier scheduled to start at 11 am, it will now be a day-night match, with the game starting at 2.30 pm.
Similarly, Bangladesh was scheduled to face Australia in the last match of the group stage on November 12 in Pune. That match has also been brought forward by a day to November 11. But as before, it will be a day match, meaning the game will start at 11 am Bangladesh time.
